About Us Our founders are enrolled tribal members whose knowledge and teachings inform our community engagement facilitation or training events. Our teaching and services are based on traditional models of peacemaking. Traditional values such as listening to understand, respect for mother earth, and honorable community engagement strategies are introduced as a means to resolve differences, achieve consensus, develop collaborations, and strengthen relationships! We embrace the mushroom way of behavior as the mycelium transmits nutritional energy in partnership with trees. Under the forest floor hidden from the naked eye, is an intricate root system, a wood-way network wherein nutrition is transferred from a stronger tree to a weakened tree. This network helps to keep the forest thriving. This metaphor embodies our goal and purpose as teachers, practitioners, and humble connectors. |
